The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of the Philippines is one of the agencies that offer short and free vocational courses to everybody especially to those youths who can’t be able to send in colleges by their parents.

  8. Computer systems servicing - 24,468 enrollees
  9. Bookkeeping - 23,569 enrollees
  10. Contact center services - 23,228 enrollees


After graduating from the programs given by TESDA, trainees will be given a National Certificate from TESDA Assessment that comes with benefits that include a quality assurance that the graduate has acquired proper knowledge and an understanding of the task at hand from undergoing a series of practical and hands-on demonstrations, positive attitudes from interviews with people who contribute to the job and work projects. TESDA Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) NC II: A short course offered by TESDA


Another kind of Welding course is offered by TESDA: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) NC II which trains you in welding carbon steel plates and carbon steel pipes components as précised by design, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding process or practical directions using GTAW equipment.

It is almost the same as Shielded Metal Arc Welding but different in equipment and procedures. GTAW deals with the welding of thin sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper alloys while Shielded Metal Arc Welding covers the manual process of welding consumable electrodes, iron and steels.

TESDA Food Processing Course NC II in the Philippines


As there are a lot of food-related courses present today, this is one of the most basic of them all, although, if we really look into it, it is simple yet challenging. TESDA Institutional Health Care (Health Care Services) NC II Course in the Philippines


Let’s go directly to the point of this short course, it is basically a service concerning the maintenance or improvement of health via diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease or other physical and mental impairments of Human beings. It is natural and expected for Filipinos to be so concerned to their family members so unlike other countries which send their elders to an institution that take care the old, they foster them whole-heartedly.

Corresponding to the said matter, TESDA offers Institutional Health Care (Health Care Services) that teaches and trains you in assisting patients of medical institutions. Prerequisite

One of the short courses offered by TESDA is the Gas Welding NC 1, it only takes 156 hours to take. People who enroll to this program will learn the proper procedure and techniques to weld using the Gas welding machine.


Tesda will also teach the safest handling for tools and equipment, perform a first aid treatment when someone injured, and the proper protective clothes.

Student who finish and pass the course can get a job abroad like Shipbuilding, Construction and any welding related job. They can also open their own welding shop to offer services like creating steel windows or sidecar for motorcycles.

Meanwhile, trainees must take assessment in order to get a certificate from TESDA.

TESDA offered Automotive Mechanical Assembly NC II as Short Courses


One of the short courses offered by TESDA in the Philippines is the Automotive Mechanical Assembly NC II (2). It takes a minimum of 143 hours to complete this course. You will learn and train here the proper procedure of installing mechanical parts into automotive.

TESDA offers a short course which is currently in demand today. This training will help you improve your pronunciation, intonation and accent together with your grammar, if necessary. This training helps you in honing your communication skills, specifically in English. Call Center Agent is one of the highest paying jobs in the Philippines and Abroad. Their job is to answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, establishing insurances policies by obtaining client’s information; determining eligibly and maintaining database.



Course Duration

TESDA Call Center Training Course only takes 100 Hours to complete.

After the training, trainees will be able to grasp on the following:

  • Achieve a comprehensive grasp of American Conversational English, including Grammar, Pronunciation and Accent;
  • Understand the nature of the call center industry and its culture;
  •  Learn customer service skills in the BPO context;
  • Know the basics of Western Culture.

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 2nd year in college (no back subjects)
  • Nursing/ Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Average English Communication Skills
