Bartending offered by TESDA this Year (Free Course)


Job opportunities are booming as 2019 enters. One of the trending courses that TESDA is offering is Bartending. More or less 600 students of TESDA graduated last December 2017, and 70 of them took Bartending as their course.



An enjoyable course which has become in demand in Hotels, Bars, and Restaurants. This free course has captivated the interest of the people for its creative nature as well as its way of service. This free course is open to everyone even if you are not really into alcohols.

Bartending's training is all about preparing cocktails or non-alcoholic beverages, how to provide basic wine services, and how to clean and operate the bar. All this for free! Bartending's training duration consists of almost Three (3) months. You may work as a Bartender or manage your own Bar using the Mobile Bar.

Top 10 TESDA Vocational Courses


The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of the Philippines is one of the agencies that offer short and free vocational courses to everybody especially to those youths who can’t be able to send in colleges by their parents.
The government made their initiative to establish this organization aiming to help and Filipinos in order to have at least a decent job after finishing and learning to TESDA.

Nevertheless, what are these vocational courses in TESDA offers which are mostly in-demand to people last 2016 which you can be also enrolled for this year?

These in-demand skills are in construction, information and communications technology, tourism, agri-fisheries, and health and wellness industries, TESDA Director-General Guiling Mamondiong said in a press conference.

Based on TESDA's records, these were the most popular courses in 2016:
  1. Shielded metal arc welding (course II) - 52,650 enrollees
  2. Cookery - 51,083 enrollees
  3. Food and beverage service - 50,646 enrollees
  4. Bread and pastry production - 47,728 enrollees
  5. Housekeeping - 43,993 enrollees
  6. Electrical installation and maintenance - 35,824 enrollees
  7. shielded metal arc welding (course I) - 27,839
  8. Computer systems servicing - 24,468 enrollees
  9. Bookkeeping - 23,569 enrollees
  10. Contact center services - 23,228 enrollees


After graduating from the programs given by TESDA, trainees will be given a National Certificate from TESDA Assessment that comes with benefits that include a quality assurance that the graduate has acquired proper knowledge and an understanding of the task at hand from undergoing a series of practical and hands-on demonstrations, positive attitudes from interviews with people who contribute to the job and work projects. Not only that, but the certificate will also guarantee that the graduate has acquired the values that can help his/her skills needed for the said occupation and for future opportunities that can follow from the success of the current project.
