The R. Agustin Training Institute and Assessment Center Inc. is accepting applicants for a Bread and Pastry Production NC II scholarship program in partnership with TESDA.
This is a great opportunity for those who want to learn how to prepare breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked products without worrying about the usual cost of training. Qualified scholars can undergo the program for free and receive support while completing their training.
What Qualified Scholars Can Receive
According to the announcement, the scholarship includes:
- Free skills training
- Free National Competency Assessment
- Opportunity to earn a National Certificate II (NC II) after successfully passing the required assessment
- ₱160 per day training allowance
- 18 days of training
- Baking tools, products, and training materials provided free of charge
The program is designed to provide hands-on experience, making it useful for people who are considering work in bakeries, hotels, restaurants, pastry shops, or even starting a small baking business from home.
Application Requirements
Interested applicants should prepare 2 photocopies of their diploma, 1 original Barangay Clearance, 2 photocopies of PSA Birth Certificate, and 2 copies of Marriage Certificate if married.
Applicants also need 4 passport-size photos with a white background while wearing corporate attire and without a name tag, plus 4 pieces of 1x1 photos.
The training center also reminds applicants to have their ID photos taken professionally at a photo studio and to follow the required photo specifications to avoid having to take another set. All documents should be placed inside a long plastic envelope.
