FREE TESDA Welding Courses Training with ₱160 Daily Allowance

Qualified applicants can choose from three welding courses: Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) NC II, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) NC II, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) NC II.

The scholarship includes free training, free assessment, and a ₱160 daily training allowance for eligible scholars.

Available TESDA Welding NC II Courses

Miesha Training Academy and Assessment Center Inc. is accepting scholarship applicants for the following courses:

1. Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) NC II

This course focuses on welding techniques that use a continuously fed wire electrode and shielding gas. Trainees will develop practical skills in welding preparation, equipment operation, and workplace safety.

  • Training Duration: 269 hours
  • Training Schedule: 25 days online + 20 days face-to-face
  • Total: 45 training days
  • Prerequisite: Valid GMAW NC I certificate

2. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) NC II

GTAW, commonly called TIG welding, is used for precise welding work on different metal materials. This training helps participants develop techniques for producing clean, high-quality welds.

  • Training Duration: 269 hours
  • Training Schedule: 25 days online + 20 days face-to-face
  • Total: 45 training days
  • Prerequisite: Valid SMAW NC II certificate

3. Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) NC II

This course introduces welding methods that use flux-cored wire, commonly applied in metal fabrication, construction, and industrial welding projects.

  • Training Duration: 269 hours
  • Training Schedule: 25 days online + 20 days face-to-face
  • Total: 45 training days
  • Prerequisite: Valid FCAW NC I certificate

Important: Applicants must already hold the required welding certification for their chosen course. Confirm the prerequisite with the training center before applying.

Who Can Apply for the Scholarship?

The scholarship is intended for qualified individuals who meet the following conditions:

  • Filipino citizen
  • At least 18 years old at the time of training
  • Not currently employed, studying, or undergoing another training program (NEET), subject to program eligibility rules
  • Displaced workers, long-term unemployed individuals, and qualified underemployed applicants may also be considered
  • Holder of the required valid welding National Certificate

Important: Junior High School graduates or Grade 10 completers alone, and high school undergraduates, are not accepted under the stated admission requirements.

TESDA Scholarship Application Requirements

Applicants should prepare the following documents before submitting their application.

Basic Requirements

  1. 2 photocopies of Birth Certificate
  2. 2 photocopies of Marriage Certificate for married women
  3. 2 photocopies of School Credentials, whichever applies:
    • Old Curriculum High School Graduate – Form 137 or Form 138
    • Senior High School Graduate – Form 137 or Form 138
    • ALS Graduate – Certificate of Rating showing the required educational equivalency
    • College Graduate – Transcript of Records (TOR)
  4. 2 recent passport-size pictures with white background, collar, and name tag (chemical-based)

Additional Requirements

  1. 3 pieces of 1×1 ID pictures
  2. 2 photocopies of a valid ID
  3. Good Moral Certificate
  4. Medical Certificate or other accepted proof of physical and mental fitness
  5. Valid TESDA National Certificate required for the chosen welding course

How to Enroll in the FREE TESDA Welding Training

Interested applicants can register through the official online registration forms provided by Miesha Training Academy and Assessment Center Inc.

Step 1: Choose Your Preferred Welding Course

Select GMAW NC II, GTAW NC II, or FCAW NC II based on your existing National Certificate.

Step 2: Complete the Online Registration Form

Open the corresponding Google Form from the training center’s official announcement and provide the required personal information.

Step 3: Check the Orientation Schedule

After registration, regularly check the academy’s official Facebook page and comment section for announcements regarding orientation and submission of requirements.

Step 4: Wait for Confirmation

The training center may also contact applicants through text message, email, or an official post.

Step 5: Submit Your Documentary Requirements

Bring the complete documents according to the instructions provided during the orientation or by the registrar.
