About the Driving NC II Training

The Driving NC II program is designed to teach trainees the knowledge and practical skills needed to operate light vehicles safely and responsibly.

During the training, participants will learn important driving techniques, road safety practices, traffic regulations, basic vehicle maintenance, and proper procedures for handling different driving situations.

After completing the required training, qualified trainees may undergo a TESDA competency assessment to earn a National Certificate II (NC II) upon passing.

Who Can Apply?

Interested applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Must not be enrolled in K–12 or college
  • Must not be enrolled in another TESDA Scholarship Program, such as TWSP, PESFA, STEP, or UAQTEA

Applicants should ensure they meet the qualifications before submitting their documents.

Documentary Requirements

Prepare the following documents before visiting the training center:

  • Student Driver's Permit, Driver's License, or Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) Certificate
  • Form 137 or Form 138 for high school or senior high school graduates, or ALS Certificate
  • Transcript of Records (for college graduates)
  • Birth Certificate (PSA or local)
  • Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants)
  • Three to four passport-size colored pictures with white background, collar, and name tag
  • Three to four 1×1 colored pictures with white background, collar, and name tag
  • One long brown envelope
