Want to learn a new skill but find it difficult to fit classes into your daily routine?
The TESDA Online Program offers free online courses that you can study at your own pace, making it easier to learn around work, family responsibilities, and other commitments.
The TESDA Online Program (TOP) is TESDA’s online learning platform for technical education and skills development. It allows learners to explore skills that may be useful for employment, business, or personal interests.
To get started, you need to create an account and enroll in your chosen course. Here is a guide to help you through the process.
Before registering, prepare the following:
- An active email address that you can access.
- A smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop with an internet connection.
- Accurate personal information for the registration form.
- A username and password that you can store securely.
Keep your email account open while registering so you can check for the confirmation message.
1. Visit the official TESDA Online website.
Go to https://e-tesda.gov.ph/. Look for Create an Account on the homepage. You can also open the login page and select Create new account.
2. Complete the registration form.
Enter the requested information and follow the website’s requirements for your username and password.
Use an active email address and check it carefully for typing errors. Read the privacy notice and review your details before submitting the form.
3. Confirm your account through email.
Open the email account you used to register. Find the message from the TESDA Online Program and click the confirmation link to verify your account.
4. Log in and complete your profile.
Sign in using your username and password. If the website asks you to complete your account profile, fill in the required details. Check your name and other information before proceeding.
5. Choose a course and follow the enrollment instructions.
Open Courses and browse the available subjects. Read the course description to understand what it covers, then follow the enrollment instructions on the course page.
If a course asks for an enrollment key, obtain it from the trainer or program administrator.
6. Start learning and complete the course activities.
Work through the lessons and complete the activities and assessments listed in your course.
As a practical study habit, set aside a manageable amount of time each day. Even 20 to 30 minutes after work or household tasks can help you establish a routine.
You can explore categories such as Tourism, ICT, Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, and Electrical & Electronics. Choose a subject that matches your interests and check the current course details before enrolling.
After meeting a TOP course’s completion requirements, learners can receive an electronic Certificate of Completion. Check the course page for the activities you must finish and the instructions for accessing your certificate.
A Certificate of Completion confirms that you finished the online course. Earning a TESDA National Certificate, such as NC II, requires a separate competency assessment and a passing result. Completing an online course does not automatically make you an NC II holder.
You can also study using a smartphone. TESDA provides mobile access through the TOP app. For longer lessons, use whichever device makes reading and completing activities most comfortable for you.
If your confirmation email has not arrived, check your Spam or Junk folder. The TOP login page notes that delivery may take 24 hours or longer during periods of high user traffic. For assistance, contact tesdaonlineprogram@tesda.gov.ph.
If you forget your password, select Lost password? on the login page. Enter your registered username or email address and follow the account recovery instructions.
TOP courses are free, although you will need to cover your own internet or mobile data costs. When you are ready, visit the official TESDA Online Program website, create your account, and choose the first course you want to complete.
