Interested in learning a practical skill through a TESDA scholarship?
Two training opportunities have been announced in Ronda, Cebu, under the program of Cong. Patsy Calderon and the Municipality of Ronda.
Vital Skills, Inc. is the TESDA partner implementing the mobile training programs.
Applicants can choose between Driving NC II and Housekeeping NC II. Slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is best to prepare your documents before visiting the application office.
Available training programs
Driving NC II
- 15 days Training
- Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA)
Housekeeping NC II
- 55 days training
- Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP)
High school graduates are also welcome to apply for Driving NC II.
Documents to prepare
- PSA or NSO birth certificate. Married women are asked to submit a marriage certificate instead, according to the announcement.
- Barangay clearance with the stated purpose “For TESDA Training NC II.”
- Diploma or transcript of records if you have graduated, or a certificate of enrollment if you are a college undergraduate.
- Two passport-sized photos with a white background and formal attire.
- Four 1×1 photos with a white background and formal attire.
- Medical certificate stating that you are “Physically fit to join TESDA Training NC II.” The announcement says this may be obtained from the Rural Health Unit (RHU).
Check that your personal details are consistent across your documents and that your photos match the requested size and background. Contact the application office if you are unsure whether to bring originals, photocopies, or both.

Gather the requirements, then submit them at the Ronda Mayor’s Office, second floor, New Building, Ronda Cebu.
