If you’ve been thinking about learning a practical skill that could open doors to jobs in drafting, construction, architecture, or engineering-related work, here’s an opportunity worth checking out.
The Pasay Makati District Training and Assessment Center (PMDTAC) is currently offering a FREE Technical Drafting NC II training program under a TESDA scholarship.
The training is designed for individuals who want to develop technical drawing skills without having to worry about paying for the training itself.
What is Technical Drafting NC II?
Technical Drafting NC II focuses on the skills needed to prepare and understand technical drawings used in different industries.
During the course, trainees can develop knowledge in creating accurate drawings, understanding measurements, following technical specifications, and using drafting-related tools and techniques.
These skills may be useful for people who want to explore opportunities related to drafting, construction, engineering, architecture, and similar technical fields.
You don’t necessarily need to be an expert before joining. What’s important is that you meet the entry requirements and are willing to learn.
How Long is the Training?
The Technical Drafting NC II program consists of approximately 206 hours or 26 training days
Classes are scheduled from:
- 📅 Monday to Friday
- ⏰ 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The program follows a blended learning setup, which means some sessions will be conducted online while others will require trainees to attend face-to-face classes.
The first week will be conducted online. After that, most sessions will be held face-to-face, while Friday sessions will continue online.
Applicants should make sure they can commit to the full training schedule before registering.

PMDTAC listed several basic qualifications for interested applicants. You should be:
- Computer literate
- Of good moral character
- Able to communicate properly
- Physically fit and mentally capable of completing the training

Why Consider This Opportunity?
Training programs like this can be a good starting point for people who want to gain employable skills but may not have the budget for private training.
Instead of simply learning through videos or tutorials on your own, you’ll have the opportunity to follow a structured training program and develop skills under a TESDA training center.
Technical drafting skills can also be useful if you eventually want to pursue work related to CAD drafting, construction plans, architectural drawings, engineering support, or similar occupations.
Most importantly, the training is being offered for free, making it easier for qualified applicants to start learning without worrying about tuition expenses.
