The San Francisco Institute of Science and Technology (SFIST) is accepting applicants for Dressmaking NC II and Cookery NC II under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).
Available TESDA Scholarship Courses
Dressmaking NC II
- Training Duration: 275 hours
- Available Slots: 25
Dressmaking NC II is designed for people who want to develop practical skills in garment construction and clothing production. Trainees can learn skills useful for employment, tailoring work, or starting a small dressmaking business.
Cookery NC II
- Training Duration: 316 hours
- Available Slots: 25
Cookery NC II provides hands-on training in preparing and cooking different types of food while following proper kitchen procedures, food safety practices, and workplace standards. It can be useful for those interested in jobs in restaurants, hotels, catering businesses, and other food-service establishments.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following basic eligibility requirements:
- - Must be a Filipino citizen
- - Must be at least 18 years old by the end of the training
Applicants should also make sure they can complete the required training hours before enrolling.
Documentary Requirements
Prepare the following documents:
- - Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- - Copy of Marriage Certificate for married women
- - Copy of Official Transcript of Records and/or Diploma
- - 2 pieces passport-size ID pictures
It is advisable to bring both original documents and photocopies when visiting the training institution in case additional verification is required.
