Great Harvest Academy of Technical Skills (GHATS), Inc., a TESDA partner institution, is accepting applicants for its skills training programs in Cookery NC II and Bread and Pastry Production NC II.

These courses are designed for people who want hands-on training and industry-relevant skills. Whether you’re interested in working in restaurants, hotels, bakeries, food businesses, or eventually starting your own food venture, completing a TESDA qualification can be a useful addition to your credentials.

Available TESDA Training Programs

Cookery NC II focuses on practical food preparation and cooking skills commonly used in commercial kitchens. Based on the announcement, the training runs for approximately 40 days.

Bread and Pastry Production NC II covers the preparation and production of breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked products. The posted training duration is approximately 18 days.

Who May Apply?

According to the announcement, applicants should be:

  • 18 years old and above
  • A resident of Bacolod City
  • Currently unemployed
  • Not enrolled in another school or training program
  • Willing and available to complete the required training period

Documentary Requirements

  • 4 copies of 1×1 ID picture
  • 5 copies of passport-size picture — TESDA format
  • 4 photocopies of NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
  • 4 photocopies of Marriage Certificate — for married female applicants
  • 3 photocopies of Form 138, Diploma, or Transcript of Records
  • Medical Certificate stating Fit to Train
  • Certificate of Indigency
  • 1 long-size brown envelope
