Good news! Ang TESDA Regional Training Center - NCR na matatagpuan sa Taguig City ay tumatanggap ngayon ng mga scholars para sa kursong Ship's Catering Services NC I (Messman Course) Training under ng Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).

Ang scholarship program na ito ay may libreng training, competency assessment at allowance.

Duration: 11 Days
Modality: Blended Training
Training Schedules: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Document Requirements:

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of the Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
  • Photocopy of Previous School Record (HS or College) - Diploma or TOR
  • Photocopy of Brgy. Clearance or NBI Clearance
  • Latest ID Pictures: 4 pcs 1x1 picture (White background, formal attire)
  • Photocopy of valid Gov't Issued ID with 3 specimen signatures
  • Photocopy of MARINA Medical Certificate - MLC 2006 - PEME Format
  • Photocopy of Passport and/or Seaman's Book
  • Photocopy of Basic Training Certificate and/or BT COP
  • Photocopy of Sea Services or Certificate of Employment (if available)

Conditional Requirements:

  • Must be High School graduate
  • 18 years old and above
  • Must have a good moral character
  • Must be physically and mentally fit as per MLC 2006 Regulation 1.2 - Medical Certificate
  • Can communicate in English both oral and written

Course Description:

Ship's Catering Services NC I (Messman Course) is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Stewarding in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as performing mess hall service, performing housekeeping service and providing assistance in receiving and storing provision and supplies.

This course is also designed to enhance the basic and common knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of stewarding.

After completing the training and successfully passing the assessment, candidates receive the Ship's Catering Services NC I certificate, which is recognized in various maritime industries and is often a prerequisite for employment on board commercial ships.
