TESDA Scholarship Alert: Carpentry NC II

Good news! TESDA Regional Training Center - Tacloban is currently offering 35 scholarship slots in Carpentry NC II.

The TESDA Carpentry NC II course is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills in carpentry, including the use of hand tools, power tools, and various construction materials. This program aims to develop competent carpenters who can work in both residential and commercial construction projects.

Enrollment Requirements:

  • One (1) Long Brown Envelope;
  • One (1) Photocopy of Live Birth (PSA/NSO) or Certificate of marriage;
  • One (1) Photocopy of any of the School Documents (Form 137/ Form 138/TOR/ Diploma);
  • Health Certificate (from Rural Health Unit or Barangay indicating "PHYSICAL FIT" for training);
  • Four (4) pcs Passport Size ID Picture (white background with a name tag and with collar shirt); and
  • Four (4) pcs 1 x 1 ID Picture

Assessment and Certification: Upon completion of the program, students undergo an assessment conducted by TESDA-accredited assessors. Successful candidates are awarded the National Certificate (NC) Level II in Carpentry, which serves as a recognition of their competency in the field.

Job Opportunities: Graduates of the Carpentry NC II program can seek employment as carpenters in various construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings. They may work for construction companies, contractors, or even start their own carpentry business.
