Ang TESDA Regional Training Center ng Zamboanga City ay tumatanggap ngayon ng mga scholars sa ilalim ng Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).
Ang TWSP ay sagot sa isyu ng "job skills missmatch." Layunin nito na matiyak na ang "labor force requirement" ng industriya ay mapupunan. Ang scholarship program na ito ay may libreng training, assessment, allowances at insurance.
Courses offered:
- Construction Painting NC II - 25 slots
- Transport Refrigeration and Air-Condition Servicing NC II - 25 slots
- Masonry NC II - 25 slots
- Carpentry NC II - 25 slots
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II - 14 slots
TWSP scholar benefit:
- Free Training
- Free Assessment fee
- Daily Allowance (Php160 per day)
- Uniform allowance (Php500)
- Internet allowance (Php500)
- 1-Year GSIS Insurance
Qualified Applicants:
- At least 18 years old and above
- At least a high school graduate
- Out of school youth
- Unemployed
Requirements:
- Birth Certificate
- Barangay Clearance
- High School Diploma/equivalent
- 3 pcs. 1x1 and 8 pcs. passport size ID picture (white background and must wear any collared shirt)
