Looking for a chance to gain practical skills and prepare for a meaningful career? A TESDA scholarship opportunity is now open for qualified residents of Baliwag City, Bulacan who want to take Caregiving NC II.
The program is offered under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and has only 20 available slots. Interested applicants are encouraged to pre-register or visit the Baliwag City PESO office as early as possible, since slots are on a first-come, first-served basis and applicants will still undergo screening.
About the Caregiving NC II Training
Caregiving NC II helps learners develop essential skills in providing basic care and support for clients, including elderly persons and individuals who need assistance with daily living. Training may cover proper client care, hygiene, mobility assistance, basic health monitoring, safety practices, and communication.
The training will be conducted face-to-face and is expected to run for:
- Duration: 99 days / 786 hours
- Possible schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Scholarship benefits: Free training, free assessment, and ₱160 daily training allowance
- For: Baliwag City residents only
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be 18 years old and above and may be any of the following:
- High school graduate under the old curriculum
- Senior high school graduate
- ALS Junior or Senior High School completer
- College level
- College graduate

- Caregiver for elderly clients
- Home care assistant

Requirements to Prepare
Bring the original documents and required photocopies during registration:
- Blue long envelope portfolio
- Blue long sliding folder
- Six passport-size photos in formal studio attire
- Four 1x1 photos in formal studio attire
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate, if married
- Report card, if available
- Form 137
- Good Moral Certificate
- Transcript of Records for college-level or college-graduate applicants
- AFS-5 report card for ALS graduates
- Diploma
Prepare five photocopies and the original of the applicable school documents.
