The TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center (KPITTC) is now accepting applicants for several training programs, including Korean Language A1 Level, giving interested learners a chance to build practical skills that may support their personal and professional growth.
Learn Korean Through TESDA: Korean Language A1 Level
The Korean Language A1 Level is designed for beginners who are just starting to learn Korean.
At the A1 level, learners generally begin developing basic communication skills, including simple words, expressions, introductions, and everyday language. It can serve as a foundation before moving on to more advanced Korean language study.
For Filipinos considering future opportunities where Korean-language ability may be useful, formal language training can also be an additional skill to include in a résumé.
However, completing a Korean language course does not automatically guarantee employment in South Korea or qualification for overseas employment programs. Separate application, language testing, visa, and employment requirements may apply.
Available TESDA Training Programs
Aside from Korean language training, applicants may also choose from the following programs:
- Korean Language A1 Level
- English Language A2 Level
- Technical Drafting NC II
- Web Development NC III
- Trainers Methodology Level I
These programs cover different career paths, from language skills and professional development to information technology, web development, and technical-vocational education.
Blended Learning Setup
Training will be conducted through blended learning, combining:
Online learning + face-to-face training
This setup can provide trainees with more flexibility while still allowing hands-on instruction and direct interaction during scheduled in-person sessions.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be residents of District 5, Bulacan, specifically from:
Balagtas, Bocaue, Guiguinto, or Pandi.
Prepare the following documentary requirements:
- 2 pieces 1x1 photo with white background
- 2 passport-size photos with white background and corporate attire
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Photocopy of Marriage Certificate for married women
- Photocopy of High School Diploma/Form 137 or College Diploma/TOR
- Barangay Clearance
- Certificate of Indigency
- Medical Certificate indicating that the applicant is physically fit
Applicants are encouraged to prepare complete and clear copies of their documents before visiting the training center.
Additional Requirements for Web Development NC III
Those applying for Web Development NC III should also meet the program-specific entry requirements.
Applicants must:
- Pass the institution's mathematics and abstract reasoning tests
- Know how to operate a computer
- Know how to navigate and use the internet
For anyone interested in building a career in the digital industry, web development training can provide useful technical skills related to website development, information technology, digital careers, and computer-based employment opportunities.
Additional Requirements for Trainers Methodology Level I
Applicants for Trainers Methodology Level I have additional qualifications to meet.
They should:
- Be a graduate of a bachelor's degree or have equivalent training or experience in Technical-Vocational Education and Training
- Submit a photocopy of their college diploma or TOR
- Provide a Certificate of Employment
- Hold certification at the same or higher NC level for the qualification they intend to handle, if applying as a technical trainer
- Be proficient in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Be proficient in verbal reasoning
