If you want to improve your welding skills and earn a TESDA National Certificate, another scholarship opportunity is now open in Quezon City.
Integrated Innovation and Hospitality Colleges Inc. (IIH College) is accepting applicants for TESDA Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP). This program is intended for qualified applicants who are already SMAW NC I holders and want to advance their welding skills.
Qualified scholars can receive free training, free assessment, and a ₱5,440 training allowance while completing the program.

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II provides practical training in welding techniques, workplace safety, proper use of equipment, and other competencies needed for welding-related jobs.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- Must be a SMAW NC I holder
- Must be 18 years old or above
- High School graduate
- Senior High School graduate
- College graduate
- ALS graduate, subject to the stated eligibility requirements
Requirements
Prepare the applicable documents before applying:
- Barangay Clearance
- 2 copies of Birth Certificate
- 2 copies of Marriage Certificate, if married
- 2 copies of Transcript of Records (TOR), if college graduate
- 2 copies of Report Card, if Senior High School graduate
- 2 copies of Form 137, if High School graduate from 2015 or earlier
- 2 copies of AF-5, if ALS graduate
- Government-issued or valid ID
- 3 pieces 1x1 picture
- 2 pieces TESDA passport-size picture with collar, name tag, and white background
- Proof that the applicant is a SMAW NC I holder

Interested applicants may personally visit the IIH College TESDA Department and submit their complete requirements.
