Good news! Balangiga National Agricultural School (BNAS) in Eastern Samar is now accepting applicants for the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).
Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis, so interested applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible since scholarship slots are limited.
Available TESDA Scholarship Courses
Applicants may choose from the following qualifications:
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II – 16 slots
- Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II – 45 slots
These programs are designed to equip trainees with practical skills that are highly valued in the construction, manufacturing, and electrical industries.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the STEP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- At least 15 years old
- Not employed
- Not currently enrolled in school or any training program (NEET)
Documentary Requirements
Prepare the following documents before applying:
- 1 piece 2x2 ID picture (white background, collared shirt)
- 2 passport-size ID pictures (white background, collared shirt)
- Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate
- High School Diploma or Transcript of Records (TOR)
- Barangay Clearance
- Medical Certificate
- Active Email Address
- NCAE Result (if applicable)
