Looking to build a practical skill that can lead to employment or even a small repair business?
TESDA PaMaMariSan Training and Assessment Center (TPTAC) is currently accepting applicants for Mobile Phones and Handheld Gadgets Servicing NC III under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).
The scholarship is intended for residents of Marikina District 1 who are interested in learning how to service, troubleshoot, and repair mobile phones and other handheld electronic gadgets.
What the Training Offers
Qualified scholars can take advantage of the following:
- ✅ Free skills training
- ✅ Free competency assessment
- ✅ Training Allowance / Training Support Fund (TSF)
- ✅ Face-to-face, on-site training
- ✅ Hands-on learning and supervised industry/on-the-job training
The program includes 47 days or 376 hours of on-site training, followed by 38 days or 304 hours of supervised industry learning (SIL) / on-the-job training.
Training Schedule: Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
This can be a valuable opportunity for individuals who want to develop technical skills in the growing mobile device repair and servicing field.
Documentary Requirements
- Applicants are advised to prepare the following:
- Accomplished TESDA Application Form
- Certificate of Completion on Practicing COVID-19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace and Working in a Gender-Diverse Environment
- Medical Certificate stating that the applicant is fit to attend the training
- Three (3) pieces 1x1 ID pictures
- Two (2) pieces passport-size pictures
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate, if applicable
- Valid government-issued ID with three specimen signatures
- Copy of Transcript of Records (TOR) or High School/College Diploma
- Photocopy of NBI or Barangay Clearance
