Great news for aspiring welders! Enrollment is now open for the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II under the TESDA Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).
A total of 22 scholarship slots are available. Qualified applicants will receive FREE training, FREE competency assessment, and a Training Support Fund of ₱160 per training day.

Requirements
Applicants must submit the following:
- PSA/NSO Birth Certificate – 4 photocopies
- Marriage Certificate (for married applicants) – 4 photocopies
- Any of the following school credentials (1 photocopy and the original copy for verification)
- Transcript of Records (TOR)
- Diploma
- Form 137, or Form 138
- Three (3) passport-size ID photos (colored, white background, clear, with collar)
- One (1) long brown envelope
Important Reminders
- Priority will be given to unemployed applicants since the training requires full-time attendance from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Applicants with an existing SMAW NC I certificate will be given priority.
- An active Gmail account is required.
- Scholarship slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Interested applicants must personally submit their complete requirements to reserve a scholarship slot. Incomplete submissions will not be entertained.
