How to Enroll in TESDA Driving Scholarship?
For interested applicants, visit the Southern Mindanao Institute of
Technology, Inc. office at National Highway, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat,
and look for Ms. Grace N. Aprosta or Jenny Lyn Miguel Bacugan.
The TESDA Driving NC II program covers both classroom instruction and hands-on practical training. Some of the topics covered in the course may include:
- Basic Driving Techniques: This covers the fundamentals of driving, including vehicle control, steering techniques, braking, and gear shifting.
- Traffic Rules and Regulations: Students learn about the traffic laws and regulations enforced in the Philippines. This includes road signs, traffic signals, right of way, and proper lane usage.
- Defensive Driving: Students are taught defensive driving techniques to anticipate and respond to potential hazards on the road, ensuring the safety of themselves and others.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting are covered to ensure that drivers can keep their vehicles in good condition and address minor issues that may arise.
- Driving in Various Road Conditions: Students are exposed to different road conditions, such as urban areas, highways, and rural roads. They learn how to adapt their driving techniques accordingly.
- Emergency Response: Students are trained on how to respond to emergencies, such as accidents, breakdowns, and other unexpected situations on the road.
